Chiva Chaitya - Respect, Promote, Protect

Ratna Mandal MahaVihaar SarbaSangh has felicitated Chiva Chaitya Organization for working in preservation of important heritage and specifically the Chivas and Chaityas. The program was held at Nagha Baha and attended by president and other officials of Ratna Mandal Mahavihaar, Ward chief of ward 25, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mr Bidya Sundar Shakya and other members of the SarbaSangh. The chief guest, the mayor felicited president and officials of the Chiva Chaitya Organization. During the program Budhhist scholor Sumati Bajracharya gave speech about the origin of Chiva and it's philosophy and the development phase of Chiva. We would like to thank Ratna Mandal MahaVihaar SarbaSangh, it's president and Siddhi Ratna Shakya for providing this honor. During the course of our work at Chiva Chaitya Organization we come across Chivas whose parts are stolen and thus the Chiva itself stand incomplete. One such site is at Kohiti, Kathmandu. Topmost dome with Budhha idols and Gaju parts were missing from one Chiva at Kohiti, Kathmandu.  Major activities done at site included realigning the Chiva as it was not aligned properly along with adding missing dome and the Gaju parts. Community Participation is Key. Photo after making the Chiva complete. Working on the Chiva Chiva Status before restoration Now the glory of the Chiva has been restored. The said Chiva was in the main road and after the restoration, the whole of the area seems complete. We would like to thank who have supported us.
