Ngata Team Managed by our Colleague wins Udaaya Cup

Udaaya Futsal Cup was organized on March 7 and 8 of 2020. The event happened with much interest from the public and the enthusiastic spectators. The tournament was won by Ngata Team managed by our colleague Mr Kabir M Tuladhar. The award was graced by the Mayor of Kathmandu Mr Bidya Sundar Shakya.

As per the winner team's affiliated organization Ngata Tuladhar Committee  "भाजु कविरमुनि तुलाधरया व्यवस्थापन व निर्देशनय् झी कासामिपिन्सं ब्वति काःगु खः । वय्कःया अनुभव, सबल तालिम व सशक्त रणनीतिया लिच्व कथं थ्व कासाय् झीसं बाँलाके फूगु खः । " In other words the success came due to the able management and direction of Mr Kabir Muni Tuladhar.

Restoration of Tamsipakaha Chiva Completed

A Chiva(Chaitya) has developed from simple architecture and iconography to complex formation with 2000 years of development. With development of the philosophy of Buddhism, different deities appeared in the Chivas. One of the prominent deities appearing in the Chivas are four Bodhisatvas in four cardinal directions namely: Manjushri, Padmapani, Avalokiteswor and Maitriya. A chiva at Tamsipakha (Ward-18 of Kathmandu) 3 of the 4 deities were stolen, only one is remaining. Three Manjushri, Padmapani and Maitriya. were carved as per the iconography and placed on the Chiva, giving philosophical completeness to the Chiva at Tamsipakha. Here we can see deities being fitted and also ward officials visiting the restoration works can be seen here.
